In the final weeks of the semester, the LSU campus becomes more than just a place between classes. The same spaces that hold conversation and movement are filled with notes, laptops, and long hours of studying. Benches, tables, and study rooms transform into spaces of focus and routine.
Across LSU, students find comfort in the environments that help them prepare for exams. Each space delivers a location for students to focus and study. Below are some of those spaces:
📍 The Quad
As finals start, LSU students can be spotted across campus, turning familiar spaces like the Quad into places to focus, learn, and occasionally people-watch.
📍 Hill Memorial Library
With designated quiet hours, Hill Memorial Library offers a peaceful environment for students looking to study without distraction and soak in beautiful lighting.
📍 LSU Student Union
The LSU Student Union offers a mix of seating and study spaces where students can work together or take a break between classes, and grab food to fuel their studies.
📍 LSU Student Union, Third Floor
A trip up the stairs to the third floor of the Student Union takes students to tucked-away study pods with built-in dividers and charging stations. Offering students a quieter, more focused place to settle in.
📍Student Union Terrace
The Student Union Terrace gives students the option to sit in the sun alone or meet up with a group and work on projects in the fresh air, one of the campus’s most underutilized outdoor spaces.
📍 Memorial Oak Grove
Outside the Student Union, LSU students pass through or sit at tables to study beneath the oak trees, each tree honoring an LSU student lost in World War I.
📍 Business Education Complex Rotunda
With its modern structure and thoughtfully designed spaces, the BEC Rotunda offers countless places for students to study.
📍 Business Education Courtyard
In the BEC courtyard in the spring, benches surrounded by greenery and soft pink blooms create a peaceful place to sit, study and slow down.
